Image Processing
PasteDownloadApp is designed to process images in your browser whenever possible. Images pasted from your clipboard or added by drag and drop are handled locally using browser APIs such as the Clipboard API and Canvas API. We do not upload, store, or have access to images you paste from your device.
When you use the URL download feature, your browser first tries to fetch the image directly from the URL you enter. If direct access is blocked by the image host, the tool may try a third-party CORS proxy to retrieve the image so it can be previewed or downloaded. In that case, the image URL and image data may be processed by that third-party proxy according to its own policies.
Information We Collect
We do not require an account and we do not ask you to provide your name, email address, or payment information to use the image tool. We may collect limited technical and usage information through analytics and advertising services, such as pages visited, browser type, device type, approximate location, referrer, interactions, and similar diagnostic information.
Your browser may also store a local theme preference so the site can remember whether you prefer light mode or dark mode. This preference is stored locally in your browser and is not used to identify you.
Third-Party Services
Our website uses Google Fonts for typography. When you load the page, your browser requests font files from Google's servers, which may log your IP address according to Google's privacy policy. We use a preconnect and preload strategy to minimize the impact of this request.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site and to improve the tool. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies to collect usage information.
We may use Google AdSense or other Google advertising services to display ads. Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, advertising identifiers, and similar technologies to serve ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and personalize ads where permitted. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
You can learn more about how Google uses data from sites that use Google services at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can manage Google ad personalization at Google Ad Settings.
The URL download feature may use corsproxy.io as a fallback when a direct image request is blocked by the source website. This fallback is only used for URL-based downloads, not for images pasted directly from your clipboard.
Cookies and Consent
Cookies and similar technologies may be used for analytics, advertising, security, fraud prevention, frequency capping, and ad measurement. Where required by law, including for users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we will request consent before using cookies or personal data for personalized ads or measurement that requires consent.
Data Retention
Images pasted from your device are processed in your browser session and are not retained by us. Analytics and advertising providers may retain usage, cookie, and ad-related data according to their own retention policies. Local browser preferences remain on your device until you clear your browser data.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, delete, correct, object to, or restrict certain uses of your personal data. You may also be able to withdraw consent for advertising or analytics cookies through your browser settings, consent controls, or Google ad settings. If you have any questions about this privacy policy, please contact us.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
